Hi I just graduated last year as an accounting major. I recently got an offer for a Property Accountant position at a real estate company. So it's not a pulic accounting firm. I was wondering if I'm eligiable to apply for H1B without a CPA?

The National Foundation for American Policy has issued an important report analyzing the interplay between of trade laws and S.887 and S.2804, bills introduced by Senators Grassley and Sanders, which would impose an array of new restrictions on skilled workers. Hi,
I had an approved I-140 from my previous company with a priority date of Nov 2005. I moved to a new company, and my GC was applied again in Dec 2006. My previous I-140 was used to retain my priority date. However, my new I-140 from this company shows the priority date of Dec 2006.
How do I make sure that my previous priority date (Nov 2005) is on file, and my case will be filed according to that.

Hi Guys,
My I-140 was processed at the Nebraska center, but my attorney sent the I-485 case to Texas Service center. Since my I-140 was filed at Nebraska, I was expecting my I-485 would be sent Nebraska also.
Should it be sent to Texas center or Nebraska?

Hello
I am in AOS with priority date of EB2 Dec 2006. We are moving out of USA due to spouse getting a job outside of USA. If we want to retain our priority date and green card, what are we supposed to do before and after we leave USA?
In case we want to make temporary visits to the USA, do we have to apply for visitor visa? I am assuming that we will not have AP since we are not inside USA. Will we even get a visitor/business visa since we have an immigrant visa which is pending with USCIS?

The Diversity Immigrant Visa program is a United States congressionally-mandated lottery program for receiving a United States Permanent Resident Card. It is also known as the Green Card Lottery. Hi,
My H1 was denied the last cycle. The denial decision was posted on Nov 24th. My application was in RFE state for quite some time, hence the delay. The question that I have is, as the denial came very late, will I be able to apply for an H1B this year. We generally file all our documents on 3.31, I am wondering if I would not be eligible this year because 3.31 is not 6 months from 11.24. There is an rule that I cannot apply if there has been a denial in the recent 6 months. Please let me know if that is the case. Will I be ineligible for this year (3.2010).
I am currently in my 4th year on a L1.

I had a H1b visa but never travelled to US.My visa got cancelled without prejudice when i left the organization.My new employer filed l1b individual on my behalf.i129 was denied stating that i am a skilled worker but do not possess specialized knowledge.Moreover the position in US is that of a software engineer & does not require any specialized knowledge.Please note that I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree(BE) in Electronics & Telecommunications with about 5 years of IT experience.
Does this mean my visa is denied?
What options do i have next?

In brief, I have applied for I-485 when I was single and now priority dates are current. I need to add my spouse. Do I need to apply for I-485 for myself again? Below are the timelines.

1. Employer A
2. I was Single.
3. Files I-140 and I-485 concurrently.
4. Schedule A expired.
5. Application moved to Eb3.
In June 2007
1.Employer B (Moved in June 2007 via H1b transfer).
Married in 2008.
April 2010.
1. Employer B.
2. New I-140 filed in EB2, approved.
3. Ported EB3 PD of Aug 2006.
May 2011.
1. PD will be current in June 2011.
2. I need apply I-485 for my spouse.
Do I need to re-apply for I-485 and G-235a for the principal applicant.
